In celebration of Dun Huang's rich Buddhist culture, the Jao Tsung-I Academy hosted the Heavenly Music of Dunhuang Exhibition in 2018, featuring replicas of Dunhuang murals. The exhibition aimed to highlight the role of music in Buddhist drawings and scriptures. It also provided a space for meditation within the exhibition, featuring contemporary Buddhist music in it.

What We Did:
- Designed and installed the Jao Tsung-I Academy with replicas of Dunhuang murals

- Liaised and managed artwork and set-up logistics

- Specially designed and built a dark room to play commissioned Dunhuang music for a meditative experience

- Interactive setup of Dunhuang instruments for audience to touch and feel them
